GAS SAFE REGISTRATION
What does it mean?
Gas Safe Register is the only official gas registration body of gas businesses and engineers in the United Kingdom, Isle of Man and Guernsey.
By law all gas businesses must be on the Gas Safe Register.
The Register (and all services associated with it) is operated on behalf of the relevant Health and Safety Authority for each region – ie the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and Health and Safety Executive Northern Ireland (HSENI).
SAFE CONTRACTOR APPROVED
What does it mean?
Regarded as one of the UK’s leading Health & Safety accreditation schemes, Alcumus safeContractor has been working with contractors for nearly 20 years to ensure their legal Compliance.
The SafeContractor scheme is a SSIP-approved health and safety assessment scheme for contractors who want to demonstrate that they’re taking responsibility for their legal health and safety requirements.
CONSTRUCTIONLINE APPROVED
What does it mean?
At Constructionline they ensure that suppliers operate to appropriate health and safety standards is crucial within the construction sector. Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) certification demonstrates that a company has demonstrated its adherence to the required safety standards, giving buyers peace of mind that they are working with an organisation that looks after the welfare of its workforce.
Because it’s such an important factor, the health and safety experts are approved SSIP partners. They are qualified to assess and validate ‘Deemed to satisfy’ certificates on behalf of SSIP, opening up opportunities for suppliers, and providing a clear audit trail for safety for our buying partners.
CHAS ACCREDITATION
What does it mean?
CHAS is a founding member of SSIP and played an integral part of its launch in May 2009. Supported by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), SSIP acts as an umbrella organisation by having cross-recognition between its members. Its main aims are to reduce health and safety assessment costs and duplication in the supply chain.
